We are looking for an experiencedIT Manager to oversee all IT functions in Q5. You will report directly into our CTO, leading a small team of IT Support Specialists and manage our technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems, processes, and policies.  We are also looking for a candidate able to manage and develop our information security operations across the organisation, able to support the needs of both our people and our clients to manage risk sensibly and appropriately. 

You will be experienced defining and leading the work of self and others, dedicated to building a happy and capable team.  You will be a people person as well as a technician obsessed with the experience of users of IT and naturally seek to assist and provide an exceptional service to those struggling to make the most of technology to do their jobs. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Manage team of IT Support Specialists providing user support, business systems support and office technology supportnurturing a happy and high performing team of technology support professionals 
  • Lead the overall service provision for IT Support globally, including performance oversight and partnership with key service and systems suppliers, and IT service management 
  • Provide the primary point of contact, expertise, and leadership across the firm for managing information security risk and response – including appropriate policies, processes and engagement with partners, users and clients 
  • Provide hands-on technology support – including first-line, remote and face-to-face – across our systems and devices, able to support users across a breadth of Windows, Mac, mobile, web-based and office technologies 
  • Champion the interests of our users and ensure that empathy and engagement with them and their needs and risks underpins our support and technology decisions 
  • Support the development of the global IT and systems budgets, working with the CTO and managing IT sourcing and investment decisions in line with budget priorities 
  • Drive continuous improvement in our processes, security posture and IT offer to users across the team, underpinned by a genuine passion for technology
