IT Specialist

We are looking for an experienced  Technology Supportprofessional to oversee all IT functions in Q5. You will report directly into our Technology Support & Information Security Manager, as part of a small team of providing our technology operations and supporting the implementation of new IT systems, processes, and policies.  The candidate will also be capable in developing application and business process integration knowledge to effectively administer and support core business systems supporting the needs of our people in managing our business in SaaS applications such as HR, Finance, Recruitment and others. 


You will be experienced in providing first-line and second-line IT support, able to manage self and work as part of a dedicated and capable team.  You will be a ‘people person’ – as well as a technician – obsessed with the experience of users of IT and naturally seek to assist and provide an exceptional service to those struggling to make the most of technology to do their jobs. 



  • Provide knowledgeable hands-on technology support – including first-line, remote and face-to-face in our London office – across our systems and devices, supporting users working globally across a breadth of Windows, Mac, mobile, web-based and office tech 
  • Lead the overall service provision for business systems application management, including support for systems integration and configuring APIs, performance oversight and partnership with key systems suppliers, systems administration, partnership with our internal enabling business functions, and first-line application user support 
  • Participate as a member of a small team of technology support professionals – always seeking to support colleagues and work seamlessly with 3rd party IT support partners 
  • Support and contribute to information security across the firm, working as part of the wider enabling team to maintain vigilance and a risk management mindset to our systems and technology support work 
  • Drive continuous improvement in our processes, security posture and IT offer to users across the team, underpinned by a genuine passion for technology 
  • Champion the interests of our users and ensure that empathy and engagement with them and their needs and risks underpins our support and technology decisions 


Key skills and technical experience  

    • InTune MDM and Azure AD, SSO 
    • O365, SharePoint & Teams Admin 
    • MacOS & iOS support 
    • Office networks & AV tech support 
    • 1st line, remote, in-person support, people skills 
    • 2nd line app support & SaaS system admin 
    • SaaS API configuration 
    • Partnering with IT support and software 3rd parties 
    • Technical input to budget decisions 
    • Supporting Infosec compliance – e.g. Cyber Essentials+ 
    • Support for IP telecoms, mobile and print 
    • Support for endpoint config and compliance (500+ devices globally)
