Q5 is a fast-growing management consultancy specializing in organization design and development. We’re looking for smart, hard-working, and enthusiastic talent with an interest in management consulting and a passion for solving complex business problems. Analysts at Q5 contribute from day one, taking a full role in our fast-paced and constantly changing business.

Analysts at Q5 are mostly engaged on client programs, working closely with clients’ senior management to design and deliver solutions along with experienced Q5 colleagues. As part of a small and growing team, you will also contribute fully to the running and management of the company.

Analytical Capabilities

  • Works with senior members of the team to resolve complex issues by performing analysis and providing recommendations.
  • Uses a basic framework for classifying data and then ensures validity by checking with a senior member of the team to ensure that it makes sense.

Functional/Sectoral knowledge and skills

  • Has a desire to get involved in one or more of the Q5 sectors or offerings
  • Gets involved in helping to build sector and offering communities.

Consulting Tools and Techniques

  • Proactively learning our tools and techniques, signing up for masterclasses, reading around the subject
  • Helping in the development of our consulting tools and techniques.
  • Proactively taking the time when on the bench to self-improve through either face to face courses or internal masterclasses

Commercial and Business getting skills

  • Actively contributing to the growth of Q5 by helping in the collation of proposal and pitch materials.

Engagement & Assignment management

  • Is the “go to” resource on client workshops and other consulting interventions
  • 100% involved in the delivery of client or internal work
  • Identifies risks, escalating appropriately as well as making suggestions of how to address/contribute to the problem-solving.

 Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrable keen interest in one or more of our offerings and/or sectors
  • Demonstrable ability to approach problem solving creatively
  • Demonstrable ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Demonstrable ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
  • Good command of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • Curiosity to learn and develop

 

Preferable skills required for project pipeline

  • Masters degree
  • Two years’ of demonstrable relevant experience
  • Native level Arabic speaker and translator
