Flotilla are a start-up carbon accounting platform designed for organisations with a Net Zero agenda. It enables business leaders to measure, reduce and offset their organisation’s carbon footprint which includes their employee’s and supply chain’s contribution. They provide access to advice and tools to empower employees to make wise financial and environmental choices. Flotilla needed support with developing their employee engagement proposition and an approach for integrating this service within their overall platform.
We ran two workshops on Mural using design thinking methodology. We developed user personas to explore how different individuals might experience Flotilla’s service and explore ideas for employee engagement. We established design principles to help the team make decisions about their future proposition. During the second workshop we brainstormed different ‘how might we’s’, and used the Crazy 8’s technique to help Flotilla think creatively about their proposition and build out their prototype in more detail.
