Ken Earle

Ken joined Q5 in October 2023 as a Principal Consultant following more than fifteen years in the UK Civil Service. Having worked on operating model transformation programmes within HM Revenue & Customs and The Insolvency Service, in 2020 Ken was brought into Cabinet Office to help build the Government Consulting Hub (GCH); tasked with delivering management consultancy assignments across government.

As a Senior Consultant for GCH, Ken led teams to help senior leaders within Ministry of Defence, Cabinet Office and DEFRA develop clear strategic intent for their organisations; subsequently reviewing and improving their operating models to best translate that strategy into delivery. More recently, Ken worked with the Modernisation and Reform Unit to coordinate the cross-government reform agenda; supporting ministers and senior civil servants in designing and implementing Phase 2 of Government Reform.

Ken is an experienced facilitator with deep strategy, transformation and organisational design expertise. He has a degree in Law from the University of Essex and qualified as a barrister. As a father of three, Ken’s spare time is limited but he generally spends it cooking, hiking, playing football or, as a “Boardgamegeek”, playing with friends and family.
