Bridging Barriers is a social mobility charity supporting young people aged 16-25 from underrepresented and low socioeconomic backgrounds to access employment opportunities through mentoring, networking, and skills development. Bridging Barriers faced significant challenges related to scaling its impact. These included a lack of funding, insufficient internal systems to manage rapid growth, and no written strategy or business plan, resulting in rushed operations and difficulties in prioritising tasks. Additionally, the small team struggles with capacity issues, and limited infrastructure affects their ability to effectively meet the high demand for its programs.
