Sam joined Q5 in 2026 after relocating from Brisbane, Australia. Formerly a Manager in a Big 4 Strategy & Operations practice, Sam specializes in large-scale business transformation and operating model design across a diverse range of sectors. He is highly regarded for cutting through complexity to make change “stick” in challenging stakeholder environments, particularly through large transformation programmes, technology implementations and operational excellence programs.
Sam holds a dual Bachelor of Commerce and Science (Finance & Psychology) from the University of Queensland. This background is supplemented by qualifications in Lean, Scrum, ESG, and accounting allowing him to bridge the gap between analytical data and the human behaviour that drives organisational performance. Prior to consulting, Sam also worked in tax accounting for a mid-tier accounting firm and in a front-line customer service role for the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland.
Recent clients include a global energy major, various State and Federal Government departments, an international NGO, a leading energy business, a large bank, a mining component start-up, a leading Construction business, and a major insurance provider.
