Charlie joined Q5 in early 2021 as a full-time consultant, after working in industry since graduating from Oxford University with a Master’s in Engineering Science in 2019. Charlie brings an analytical approach to complex business problems, finding that his background in software and system design gives him a unique perspective which helps to deliver sustainable value and change to clients. Charlie has worked across the public and private sectors, most recently working on an Organisational Design project at the UK Home Office.
Outside work, Charlie enjoys building things, generally having a few DIY projects on the go at any one time. He is also a keen sportsman, having spent years competing on the river as an oarsman, he now focusses more on cycling and running (although more to stave off the effects of a love of French cuisine rather than any competitive ambitions).
