Tim Janisch

Since studying to be an engineer, Tim's career in consulting has taken him steadily away from the mechanics of machines towards the dynamics of people. He has been leading organisational change for fifteen years, working across the UK, the US, Scandinavia, Australia, Hong Kong and the Middle East. At Q5 Tim focuses on capability development and behaviour change for leaders and teams.

He reads a lot of books on psychology and behavioural economics and he loves reminding other Q5ers that stories change behaviour better than rules and processes. Some of his favourite words are "idea", "hero" and "hobbit".

Tim plays a lot of tennis and is inspired by the writings of Andre Agassi: "Hitting a ball dead perfect - the only peace". Until that moment comes, Tim makes do with taking the camera for walks in the Chilterns, often after tennis.
