Gavin is a consultant in the Hong Kong office with 20 years of experience in strategy development, change management and complex programme delivery. Much of Gavin’s work centres around supporting global MNCs with their Asia businesses. Recent projects have included a strategy review for Christie’s and an Asian change programme for Fitch Information Services.
Until recently, Gavin spent 10 years heading up the strategy function at Modern Terminals, a Hong Kong based container terminal operator with substantial investments in China. Gavin lead the strategy and business plan delivery work across all the company's business units, as well as growth and expansion projects globally.
Prior to joining Modern Terminals in 2006, Gavin spent over a decade working in management consultancy with PA Consulting Group, leading business change projects for clients in Europe and then across Asia, moving to Hong Kong in 2000.
Gavin is a Chartered Engineer (IMechE) and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, with a degree in mechanical engineering from Edinburgh University.
On top of a love of leisure travel, Gavin also (occasionally) takes his trainers to compete in triathlons and marathons in locations as diverse as Sydney and Angkor Wat.
