Richard Clark

Richard is a principal consultant at Q5 and specialises in advising global companies on their structure, financial analysis, consolidation opportunities and potential M&A activity. His particular focus in recent years has been market analysis and driving strategic decision making in the UK and US media sectors.

He has now worked with five of the six national UK newspaper brands, as well as organisations such as Which? and Dow Jones in both London and NewYork. Other clients at Q5 have included AMEC, Royal Academy, Abellio, the FCA and Legal & General.

Before joining Q5, Richard spent a number of years working as a strategic adviser to companies operating in Russia and the former CIS, and prior to that as the business development manager for an outdoor advertising firm, helping to integrate a newly-acquired company into the existing operations.

Richard has an MA honours degree in history from the University of Edinburgh, a city he would recommend to anyone and everyone willing to listen to him go on about how great it is.
