Daniel is the head of Q5's Retail & Consumer Goods practice. He is an accomplished retailer with nearly 20 years’ experience in the field and central functions of some of the UK’s largest Fashion & Food retailers.
Starting his career at Marks & Spencer in a number of commercial and support office roles in retail & in buying and merchandising functions; he moved to Tesco to be part of their Express Format roll-out team as an Area Manager, before joining House of Fraser as a Flagship Store and then Senior Project Manager.
At Q5 Daniel’s experience covers strategy, change management, organisational design, process design, programme implementation and leadership development; supporting clients on the challenges of globalisation, digital transformation, corporate centre, buying & merchandising and functional re-design. His clients include Burberry, Arcadia Grp, Topshop, Topman, Matalan, Boots, Sainsbury’s, New Look, McColl’s.
Daniel has a BA in History from Leeds University. Married with two fantastic children, he is a keen cyclist and can be found in the early hours of the summer mornings taking on the Chilterns.
